It's a common phenomenon that when people discover us, they can't help but talk!
We've been lucky to have the news of our services across radio & television as well as having our premises used in major Hollywood films.

Radio
We're full of chat and we just can't help it!
We're big fans of radio here and we've had the opportunity of talking about the pub on both national and local stations.
Below we have one of our most recent radio interviews from Good Morning Dublin on 103.2 Dublin City FM. Have a listen why don't ya!

Film
Have you spotted us before?
Of course you have!
There's many appealing attributes of the pub, but for filmmakers, it's preservation of the pubs character.
Our pub is a bit like a time machine. When you walk through the large wooden doors you'll understand. So why would Hollywood spend a heavy penny on building a set when we have the authentic thing, tucked away on Prospect Square.
If they're Irish and they're acting? They've probably been here. But below is a selection of some
of the films you may have seen us in.
Watch them again and keep your eyes
peeled for the pub and Glasnevin cemetery.
Michael Collins (1996)
Agnes Brown (1999)
Quackster Fortune Has A Cousin in the Bronx (1970)
The Woman Who Married Clark Gable (1985)
Albert Nobbs (2011)

TV
Mammy, we're on the telly!
In 2022, Mr Masterchef John Torrode himself, made his way to the square for a little demo on how Ciaran makes his famous coddle.

The episode can be streamed through Discovery+ or catch the clip we got of our Ciaran.
